Loreto Riveros is a Chilean-born, New York–based visual artist. She holds a BFA in Visual Arts from the Universidad de Chile and an MFA in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute.

Her work has been supported by the FONDART Government Grant and the ANID Master’s Scholarship. She has presented four solo exhibitions in Chile and New York, and has participated in group exhibitions across Chile, Argentina, and the United States.

Her work explores the intersection of classical art techniques and digital processes. Drawing from a foundation in painting and drawing, she questions how ideas of authenticity, authorship, and representation shift in a digital context.

Influenced by Walter Benjamin and Jean Baudrillard, her practice examines the blurred line between reality and simulation.
